Behind us is a wonderful evening as part of Senioralni. Poznań 2025.
With the support of Poznań Volunteer Centre and micro-donations as part of the „Volunteer to Poznań” competition, we were able to invite Poznań seniors to a delicious meeting ![]()

At the dinner table we talk about volunteering and integration was intended as a mini-culinary workshop inspired by Yemeni cuisine; in practice, what came out was a long, communal feast, around a yielding table.
With the scents of coriander, cinnamon and chilli, we also talked about volunteering, integration and building a local community between people from different cultures.
The chef was a brilliantly cooked young lad from Yemen with the indispensable assistance of a Somali colleague.
We like our Good Inclusion Space, and what we like most is that it is budding and including more and more people ![]()

The project has contributed to the sustainable strengthening of volunteering in the organisation. For the first time, mixed volunteer teams were built within PDI and refugee people were given the opportunity to actively contribute to the local community. The provision of Arabic-language content increased the availability of information and facilitated the inclusion of new PDI residents in community activities.
Thanks to the involvement of volunteers and the local community, the project has become an important step in developing the community sponsorship model in Poznan and building mutual relationships based on respect, shared responsibility and real cooperation.
The „Volunteering to Poznań 2025” competition is implemented by the CREO Association as part of the Poznań Volunteer Centre. Financed from the budget funds of the City of Poznań #poznańsupports #poznań #pomocnipoznań
