Thank you to Piotr Szulc and Poznań Internationals Events for providing a space where we could share our project and meet the local community! The International Quiz Evenings have been held at the City Bar for years and continue to integrate the international community in Poznan.
This time we took the opportunity to introduce the Social Patronage Programme. We organised a quiz on North African countries, the homelands of many migrants and refugees living in Poland. Questions covered history, culture, geography and interesting facts about Sudan, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria and Morocco. The winning team received homemade falafel as a delicious prize!
Before the quiz, Kübra talked about how to support refugee and migrant people in Poland through the Social Patronage Programme, and information leaflets were distributed.
